A friend and I went for a walk in Birds Hill Provincial Park. We came upon a spot where the Chickadees were eating seed out of people's hands. I couldn't get over how bold they were. Despite their bravery, it took forever to get some decent shots because we were being attacked by a squirrel who literally threw dozens of acorns out of the trees. I've never had to run for my life because of flying acorns before... strange how one squirrel can create so much terror.

This is Heather, the latest addition to my niece's family. She weighed in a whopping 9.5 lbs! She doesn't know it yet, but she's my newest gunea pig...
I think I'm seriously falling behind with the "daily" thing!

Dark, heavy clouds greeted us at the office this morning, and then for a minute or two, this sunny break occured. Unfortunately, taking the picture through the window just doesn't reflect how beautiful it really was standing there looking at it.
