July 12, 2008 I've always been bad for not deleting "throw-aways" as I go, so because today was such a miserable day weather-wise, I decided to clean up my files. I found this one that now in hindsight, I'm glad I hadn't deleted. It was taken during one of my photography courses earlier in the year, when we were taken to a location and told to "find the light". I kind of like how the light hits some of these other photographers, busy at work. I also played with some pre-sets in Lightroom. - Cedar Gate Photography

One photo a day. It may not have been taken the day of posting, but at least worked on that day.

What every serious photographer needs - a sniper telephoto. I discovered with this photo that I need to pay attention to file names on import - I don't think he'll be pleased to see he's labeled as "flower"!!

Not quite right, but I still kind of like it. Next time, I'll have to read the full set of instructions before hitting "save"!

Taken at the zoo the other day. There's a "room" you can go into where these tropical birds fly all around you. A photographer's dream! not sure what type of bird this is, but his colors were very eye-catching.
