One photo a day. It may not have been taken the day of posting, but at least worked on that day.

Afternoon stroll in the park

btw...the two black dots at the bottom of the daisies are actually two little green bugs! I was all set to clone them out, but they looked so cute!

I know some of you don't care for frames, but... after spending all weekend making templates and "fancying" things up, these poor ol' daisies looked positively naked all on their own!

And thanks everyone for the feedback yesterday. Strange how you can look at something a million times, and (literally!) not see the writing... Words on shoes now taken care of!

This was not my intended post for today - for some reason, I can't upload anything to smugmug right now,so I'm posting something I uploaded earlier. I've spent the whole day working on templates for photobooks for the weddings I did last month. I know there are many sites that offer templates when you order through them, but I'm not toally happy with any of their offerings, so I figured I'd do it myself. I had NO idea it would be so time consuming. I started off pretty excited when I realized how easy it was technically to build a template - photo selection and final touches however have left my head spinning. I thought this looked ok at first, but the problem is I have about 10 variations of this set of shots, and I can't decide if it's ok or not. While it's not the photos themselves that concern me (this is really just a sample), it's the layout. Feedback would be appreciated!

I must apologize for not leaving comments this weekend, I will catch up tomorrow.

Laura is one of our regular customers at the store. We spent a few minutes sitting outside today at lunch time enjoying the sunshine, and as I had my camera handy, I couldn't resist. I wish I had run in and grabbed a reflector to lighten up the eyes, but as usual, my brain kicks in 20 minutes later!

This beauty finally bloomed in my yard today

I'm titling this one "Fishfly on Ice". Well, not really - just a light table, but I did contemplate crazy-glu'ing his feet to the table. This little guy sure moved around a lot! I have the utmost admiration for those of you who manage to get those super-sharp macro bug shots. Or are you popping them in the freezer for a few minutes first to slow them down?!

Today was a 12-hour work day, so not really much time to shoot anything. I stopped off at the park realy quickly on the way home as the sun was beginning to set. Unfortunately, there are zillions of people hanging around, so the only way to get an "uncluttered" shot, is to get low!

Cheating today, as I have had no time over the last couple of days to shoot anything new. This is another from the zoo early last week. This little guy certainly wasn't camera shy!
