One photo a day. It may not have been taken the day of posting, but at least worked on that day.

Cheating today due to lack of motivation! I took this last week at the park - I belive they're foxgloves, but I could be wrong.

Today was my day off from the store, so I spent the morning with Peggy and her grandson Jack. He is such a cutie! And no, he is not normally allowed to play on the rail tracks; fortunately he's far too young to remember this and want to do it again. Peggy acted as train-spotter.

Choke cherries. Shutter speed should have been much faster to get a crisper shot but I think the wine was slowing me down last night! :)

Spent the evening with my two sisters, Louisa and Peggy. I started off taking a few shots in the backyard; then moved them to the front, hunting for the right light... then down the street...wine glasses still in hand!

Patience finally paid off today. I was so lucky, I had a hard time choosing for today's post. The others can be seen at http://ceejanerun.smugmug.com/Nature/387440

I thought I'd try something a little different and forced myself to shoot something I normally wouldn't bother with. I went through a major bout of "...if this lens was just a little wider..." with this shot, and even though the sun was sinking fast, I am surprised at how warm it looks once uploaded. Oh well, I tried something different, that's what counts, right?!
